Testimonials
See what people have to say about us

In 1998, Abdelghani Lakhdar returned to his hometown of Douar Bellota after completing his studies, with the desire to connect nature and community. This idea gave rise to Menzah Bellota in 2013. Initially a small eco-campsite, it is now a recognized center for sustainable tourism. It preserves traditions, creates opportunities for the region, and invites visitors to live in harmony with nature.
We signed up for the evening tagine menu immediately upon arrival. In the meantime, we browsed the small shop on the premises, which sells regionally produced products (oil, jams, honey, olives, etc.).
Tagine is one of Morocco's most famous dishes. It is slowly braised in a special clay pot with a pointed lid, which makes the meat, vegetables, spices, and fruit particularly tender and aromatic. The combination of sweet and savory flavors is typical of Moroccan cuisine and we really enjoyed it. Enjoy!
